Shenoah Taylor
I had my first experience of shamanism in 1990 and I immediately knew I had found my spiritual home. Shamanism is the path of my heart and through it I have come to know my gifts and my place in the world. With the help of the spirits I now support others to find their own way to empowerment, connection and healing by offering workshops and one to one work.
One of my greatest gifts is working with shamanic song and it features a lot in my healing work. The practice of Seidr, using the song and the staff, forms the basis of my personal practice.
I have worked within a number of shamanic traditions and woven them together into a deep personal practice. I have been guided and inspired by many teachers including Jonathan Horwitz and Annette Host of the Scandinavian Centre for Shamanic Studies, Myron Eschowsky and Sandra Ingerman.
I am a member of the Core Shamanic Practitioner Circle and the Society for Shamanic Practitioners and work closely with other shamanic practitioners for peer supervision and ongoing support. I am also a facilitator with the London Open Drumming Group, a shamanic journeying group which has been meeting monthly since 1997. I have professional liability insurance for both teaching shamanism and shamanic healing work.
